For over five decades, food distribution to families in need has been at the foundation of the HPBC’s mission in support of our community. Hollenbeck’s facilities and support personnel provide the perfect home base and distribution center, for effective public food assistance, located in the heart of Boyle Heights. Food donations from all around Southern California are delivered to our gymnasium on First Street, sorted and packaged to serve hundreds of families every year.
