The mission of the Hollenbeck Youth Center and Inner-City Games is to create opportunities for inner-city youth to participate in athletic, educational, and community enrichment programs; to build confidence and self-esteem; to encourage youth to say ‘no’ to gangs, drugs, and violence and ‘yes’ to hope, learning and life.
Our Vision is that ALL youth are safe, healthy, and happy, and grow to become positively contributing community members. And in the words of our founder, Daniel L. Hernandez, ‘All Kids Are a Lifetime Investment.’
