What We Do
What has set the Hollenbeck Youth Center/Inner City Games programs apart from other organizations has been our ability to expose youth to literally a much bigger world than they had ever imagined.
Among the notable celebrities who brought attention to the Inner City Games boxing legend Muhammad Ali with Arnold Schwarzenegger, CEO Danny Hernandez, LAICG Director Beatrice Hernandez, Maryum Ali, and Maria Shriver.
Our programs have taken our kids far and wide including various Olympic events here in the U.S. and around the world; university campus visits; seminars; and workshops.
Through our community engagement programs, including town hall meetings, political debates, and City Council and County Supervisor meetings, our young people are exposed to the broader cultures of the United States and the World.
